Construction Technician / Draftsperson – Civil Engineering Ausbildung in Germany

German name: Bautechnische/r Konstrukteur/in - Ingenieurbau

The vocational training to become a Construction Technician (Civil Engineering) is a 3-year recognized apprenticeship. From August 1, 2026, this new professional title will replace the previous 'Bauzeichner' (Architectural Draftsperson). You will learn to technically plan and draw construction projects in civil engineering.
